Serenity Dental

Our Appointment & Cancellation Policy

At Serenity Dental , we are committed to providing you with high-quality care. To do this, we reserve a specific time in our schedule just for you. When an appointment is missed, it prevents other patients from getting the care they need.

To keep things fair for everyone, we use the following policy:

The 48-Hour Rule

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance . This gives us enough time to offer that spot to someone else who may be waiting for treatment.

Our Three-Step System

We understand that life is unpredictable. We track missed appointments on a rolling 12-month basis . This means each missed appointment “falls off” your record exactly one year after it happened.

  • 1st Occurrence: We know emergencies happen. We will simply note the missed visit and help you reschedule.
  • 2nd Occurrence (Flexible Rebooking Options): If a second last-minute cancellation occurs within a 12-month window, you can choose how to book your next visit:
  • 3rd Occurrence (Scheduling Review) : After a third missed visit, we may need to reassess whether our scheduling model is the right fit moving forward.
  • Option A: Same-Day Only. We will place you on our Priority Call List and contact you when a spot opens up that same day.
  • Option B: Advance Booking Deposit. You can still book in advance by placing a $100 deposit . This $100 goes directly toward the cost of your treatment when you arrive, or can be refunded back to you at your request. If the appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit is kept to cover the lost time.

Confirming Your Visit

As a courtesy, we send reminders via text, email, or phone. However, it is still your responsibility to keep track of your appointment time.

Patient Acknowledgement I have read and understand the Appointment & Cancellation Policy of Serenity Dental. I understand that my ability to pre-schedule appointments depends on my commitment to arriving at my reserved time.
