Dr. Jas
Dentist and Owner
Dr. Jas was born in England and raised in Edmonton. He completed his undergraduate training in biological sciences at the University of Alberta and subsequent dental degree at the NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Jas moved back to Edmonton in 2017 and began his professional journey in dentistry. After working for a number of years in Edmonton, Dr. Jas opened up his own practice in Beaumont in September 2021.
Dr. Jas focuses on tailoring his treatment plans to fit his patient’s needs. He is active in continuing education and staying up to date and new developments in the dental world so he can provide the best care to his patients. He is an avid sports fan and likes to stay active. Dr. Jas welcomes new patients and is excited to serve the people of Beaumont and surrounding areas!
Fun Fact about Dr. Jas: He is a huge nerd of The Office! Be sure to check out his “The Office” Lego set next time you visit the clinic!
Lisa R.
Lisa is our office manager! She has been working in the dental industry for over 30 years as an assistant, receptionist and manager. She loves the personal interaction she has with her patients and genuinely cares about their dental experience. She loves to go for nature walks with her family and her two dogs.
Fun Fact about Lisa: She loves to travel and go snorkeling, and she hopes to get her diver’s license soon!
Melani R., RDA
Melani is our fantastic dental assistant. Melani has 15 years of experience in dentistry, starting her journey in 2006. She graduated from NAIT in 2009 from the Independent Study program. When she isn’t working, she is busy running around with her kids. She loves crafting and is always creating something!
In her down time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, the outdoors, camping, ice fishing and spending time with her family.
Fun fact about Melani: Melani is a certified nail technician and enjoys creating art in many forms!
Antonnette L., RDH
Antonnette is our wonderful hygienist! She has been a dental hygienist since 2007. Introduced to the world of dentistry at the age of 16 through a co-op program in high school, she was naturally drawn to the world of dentistry. She found deep passion in dental hygiene and patient education regarding oral health. With that, she strives to provide the highest level of care to each patient. Putting patients at ease, especially those with a history of dental anxiety, is one of her top priorities in achieving optimal dental care. She believes that making the patient comfortable is an integral part of her enjoying her job.
Originally from Toronto, the natural beauty and landscape of the Canadian Rockies made it an easy choice for her to call Alberta home. On her free time, she enjoys baking and decorating cakes and cupcakes, hosting dinner parties, and spending time with her husband and two energetic daughters. Whether it’s snuggling up on the couch watching a movie or spending time outdoors camping at a lake, all she needs is her family and a bag of snacks!
Fun Fact about Antonnette: She believes she would be a Fear Factor champion. Fish eggs, snails, crickets, alligators, and frog legs. She’s tried it all, and can honestly say they all taste just like chicken!
